Snakewise, the only internet news source whose editor believes himself to be Walter Cronkite and Edward R Murrow combined, was started by Mike Zazaian in 2003 amidst a fit of total lunacy. The site was maintained briefly, then taken down when the state of Michigan was eaten in one bite by Ralph Jorgen of South Dakota during Arby's annual "Eat a State" competition. Luckily, Michigan was passed and replaced on March 26, 2006, and Snakewise was reborn in its new, improved, blogier form. Mr. Jorgen, however, was not so fortunate. His spleen was punctured by a radio tower on top of the Fischer Theater two months into the digestion process.
